As reported in the Journal of Physiology, increased consumption of fructose lead to impaired memory and learning.  This study is very important given the alarming amount of fructose that many people are consuming on a daily basis.  One of the biggest factors in the rise of fructose consumption is high fructose corn syrup, the inexpensive, corn by-product sweetener that is now added to so many of our most common foods.
