Yes it is true, researcher Keeve Nachman, PhD, assistant scientist and director of the Farming for the Future program at Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future, part of the university's Bloomberg School of Public Health, found these and other medications in the feathers of chickens at large factory farms.  Analysis of the feathers is important because feathers accumulate drugs and chemicals that chickens are exposed to during their average life span of about eight-week.  One can only imagine the possible ramifications of humans eating these chickens that contain prescriptions drugs!
